PURPLE REIGN

I discovered Prince when I was 13, arranged a bus trip to Oslo for twenty or so people to see him live the first time when I was 14 and now 22 years later - he's playing a sold-out Roskilde Festival..and I'm still excited!!

NORWEGIAN WOOD 2011

Norwegian Wood festival recides in Oslo's biggest outdoor public bath, in the middle of Oslo's posh area. Thankfully there is nothing posh about the festival. This year you find metal giants Mastodon and Gojira among the headliners together with rock legends Eric Clapton, The Eagles, Patti Smith and Ringo Starr.

METALTOWN 2011

Metaltown in Gothenburg is bursting with good rock and metal bands this year. The festival has also moved away from the pier. You can see bands like: SOAD, Volbeat, At the Gates, Bring Me the Horizon, Anvil, Watain, Cavalera Conspiracy, All That Remains, Meshuggah, Arch Enemy, Devin Townsend Project, Ghost, Madball, Parkway Drive and many more.

ØYAFESTIVALEN - OSLO

In one of the oldest parts of Oslo Øyafestivalen takes place every year in August. This year you can see these artists

CATGIRL'S CONCERT LIST

Ever since being a little kid I've been going to concerts. My first festival experience was the Horten Festival in '81 I think. Back then Roskilde and Horten festival were closely connected and in 1978 they shared artists like Bob Marley and the Wailers.

By 2009 I've been to Roskilde 13 times, and seen a lot of bands both there and other places.
