| Whoooho! Incredible as it is...this
year we had our 6th chatmeeting, and several
new chatfriends showed up. This year's nice
surprise was a major delegation from Germany. |
| Unfortunately the weather wasn't
as pleasant as it's always been, but we're
a resilient breed ;) |
| As usual we started our little
chatmeeting by the brigde trying to gather
the group before we moved over to the (usually
green) grass have our little palaver. |
| Like last year we had a short
visit from a fellow fanzine - Forssis Roskilde
Plads - and this year we bring you a complete
photo :) |
| One by one people showed up. |
| We missed some of our regulars,
but were still a handsome bunch. |
| After a light rainshower we
decided to move on to the beerdrinking business. |
| Forssiss said his goodbyes
and we went over the brigde to West where
we had a small chance of finding somewhere
nearly dry to sit down. |
| After collecting together cash
as usual, we went and spent it all on beers
and some snacks. |
| The volleyball field, full
of sand, was the destination for our little
party this year. |
| To crates of beer and a bunch
of happy campers. You can't go wrong. |
| Fortunately people around us
weren't to interested in playing volleyball,
so we could just sit and relax in the cold,
wet sand. |
| Some people were supposed to
be elsewere during the chatmeeting, but stayed
with us instead, which was really nice. |
| The skies were looking a bit
grey again, but not a gloomy face among the
chatters. I guess two crates of beer and a
bunch of good friends win over bad weather
any day. We're all getting ready and excited
about the concerts to go. |
| Conversation is flowing easy |
| and there is no lack of entertainment
either. |
| New friendships are blossoming |
| And the beer has started going
to people's heads |
| Getting ready for the rain... |
| And then all hell breaks loose.
The rain started pouring down hitting the
sand like little bombs. And after the rain
came hail |
| It was an excellent opportunity
to find out how many people you can put under
one umbrella. I think 6 or 7 was the maximum.
Meanwhile I was standing with my back against
the whipping rain and hail to provide a slight
shelter to poor Püffi who did NOT have
any rain gear on. |
| And after the rain, the little
sandy volleyball field suddenly appeard as
an island in the midst of all the rainwater
and mud. The lot of us pretending to be stuck
on a island like castaways. |
| We stuck in there still and
didn't leave the premises until it was time
to go back to camp and get ready for the first
concert of this years festival. Wuhuu.. See
ya there.... |
