| After much discussions with
camping guards we finally managed to get a
spot for everyone. We also had to give away
two spots in our camp to other people. I've
never been so frustrated by the camping situation
before. *grumpy* |
| The party tent started out
in full height but we had to lower it soon
enough because of the dreadful weather. And
some camping guard told us we had to give
up the party tent for strangers to camp on
the spot. HA ..my ASS! We placed HC partly
under our party tent to fix that problem. |
| With all that settlede we could
finally relax and party. Our "So What!
Camp" now consisted of approx. 12 people.
Some chatgang people (HC, Angel, Jens and
Cat) and some SW-people, and three more Swedes
:) |
| Because of the lousy weather
a lot of time was spent in the party tent
drinking beer and listening to the "boom
box". |
| We also had visitors from time
to time, but mainly it was just us. |
| Unlike FistCamp - guitars are
kinda banned in SW-camp. So no campfire singalong
evenings. |
| But we got along fine with
Angel giving the guys pink nails if they entered
the camp. If you met someone with really really
pink nails...Angel got to them! |
| And of course we had our little
boombox that Terje and I brought along, so
we could listen to music all night long in
the rain. |
| In addition to painting his
nails pink Angel also made this unfortunate
Swede undress and put on a bikini in the middle
of the night...Freezing cold too... |
| The camp's partytent started
out in full height, then we had to lower it
because of the wind (nothing new) and in the
end we had to make one end higher again to
fit in HC's tent under it. That made the party
tent look like a stage. |
| Fistcamp was of course not
far away and everytime we were over it was
fully packed with happy-shiny-people singing
and having a good time. |
| Lots of familiar faces in Fistcamp,
but also some newcomers that had been picked
up along the way. |
| And always time for a song
with apt guitarplayers like Bjørn "Guitarman". |
| Back in SoWhat-camp everyone
is very happy with finally getting some warm
and sunny weather. Drinking beer, relaxing,
laying in the grass talking...or reading books
as some choose to do. |
| We all brought our chairs and
freezing bodies out into the sun and just
enjoyed being out. |
| This is how it's supposed to
be! |
| And later it rained again..of
course |
| It's back on with the warm
clothes and getting ready for another night
of beerdrinking and freezing our butts off. |
| But who cares really. Surrounded
by good friends and company it doesn't matter.
There's always something entertaining going
on. |
| The festival is nearing it's
end and camplife is too...We've all started
dreaming about that hotelbed and being somewhere
dry without mud. |
| But there's still concerts
to go to...and beers to drink before we all
bid eachother farewell. |
