| As usual we were standing on
the East side of the brigde keeping a look-out
for newcomers. This year it was quite easy
to find us with our very own flag and TV-team. |
|
 |
| Several of the people who said
they would come to the meeting didn't show
up unfortunately. But the ones who did seemed
to enjoy themselves with beers. We also missed
several of the "old" bunch that
couldn't join us at the festival. This year
was also a bit special since Dorte brought
her little daugther Nalini. It's the first
time in the history of the chatgang that we
have had a baby among us. And Nalini was all
smiles! |

| Throughout the whole meeting,
Nicky and Nicola from VTV was filming us and
also interviewing most of us. Pity we weren't
as many as at RF2000. |

| PJ and Dark Grief are having
a good laugh over something. Quite some time
since these two guys have seen eachother,
but it doesn't seem to matter! |

| Meeting old friends again,
in RL, is especially good. Eventhough we do
talk on the chat, messenger or mail it's so
special to be able to look into eachother's
eyes and getting those warm hugs again! |

Some of the newcomers had arrived by the
brigde earlier than 15.00 this year, which
was nice. But we still stood there for quite
some time just in case more people would
come.

| Some of the people coming to
the chatmeeting aren't necessarily chatters,
but friends of the gang. I brought my bestfriend,
who has been chatting, and his girlfriend.
But though people aren't part of the chatgang
they have no problem having a good time with
us. |

| After hanging around the brigde
for a while to make sure there were no more
people coming, we moved over to the lawn by
gate 10 and sat down to get to know the newcomers,
and to have a nice chat with old friends. |
|

| And one of those old friends
of ours are of course Angel. Each year is
just as exciting....will we recognize her??
Angel changes her appearance faster than most
people change their underwear, so this year
I had to look hard. But that purplehaired
being with wings could only be my little Angel
girl! |

| We are sitting down, the weather
is brilliant and the talk flows easy. Some
hasn't seen eachother for a year, some has
seen eachother only months ago, so the talk
is both humeorous and serious. |
|

| Though VTV was there to film
and interview us, they also took some time
too relax amongst us and have a cig and talk
about the festival. |
|
 |
| Dorte brought little Nalini
to the chatmeeting, and she charmed everyone
of course. Both Dorte and Nalini were staying
in Püffi's great van that has toilet
and real beds and even a shower!! But of course
changing diapers in a tent would have been
a little to rough! |

| This is one of our newcomers;
Funkstar. He is from Island and he travelled
to the festival all alone. Well at the festival
he teamed up with some strangers and seemed
to be very happy with his choice of company.
That's the spirit!!! |

briefly...maybe about the alleged "love/hate
relationship" that DG told the TV-team

| The weather has been great
ever since we got to the festival on the Saturday
before the chatmeeting. And we have all gotten
a good tan (or maybe I should say burn). |

| One of the things we talk about
while we sit there in the grass is of course
what concerts to go to the rest of the day,
and the rest of the festival too.... |
|

| Most people were planning to
go to Deftones as the first concert. Others
are more interested in just sitting there
as long as possible and talk.... |
|

| Dorte had no problems finding
someone who would hold Nalini for her from
time to time. Sanne even agreed to babysit
one of the days so that Dorte could go to
a complete concert without Nalini. |

| Another newbie....Slir, are
making contact with Joey Boy. |
|
 |
| Everyone are getting a little
restless....it's getting close to 1700 hrs
and the opening of the gates.... |

| The meeting is breaking up
and getting ready for the festival to start
for real. After the meeting we moved onto
the concerts, most people heading for Deftones.
Püffi and myself went to the backstage
for some serious talks and good laughs (and
somehow we got piss drunk as well.....) |
