| One of the main attractions
on Sunday was Skin, ex-singer in Skunk Anansie.
She's out with a solo album "Fleshwounds"
that very much like the softer stuff she did
with Skunk Anansie. Check out: http://www.skin.uk.com/site.html |
| The festival introduced her
by saying something about clitoris(!!) and
when she came onto stage she got everyone
in frenzy at first row with a very husky "Hello
girrrrrls" |
| She started off by singing
several of the songs from her new album, and
in between singing she took time to flirt
and tease the best she can. |
| After some solo material Skin
played some good old favorites like "Weak"
and "Charlie Big Potato". I was
positively sure she was gonna do "Secretly"
when she proclaimed the next song was about
"..when you're fucking someone you shouldn't
be fucking", but it was one of her new
songs called "You've made your bed".
Very good lyrics. |
| All in all, the Skin concert
was great. So much fun to see her live again
eventhough I do prefer the sound of Skunk
Anansie more than her solo stuff. |
| The Hellacopters. Swedish noise! |
| Norwegian noise - Mastyr. |
| *drool*...eh..yeah. Audioslave
was the absolute headliner for the entire
Norwegian Wood festival if you ask me. I am
very impressed that the festival managed to
get them to Oslo. |
| I was not the only one enjoying
this concert |
| One of the more funny things
were some girls behind me who screamed "Take
a picture NOW!" whenever Chris Cornell
was over by my side of the stage. |
| This was the only concert that
I actually went into the photo pit in search
for some nice close ups of Mr. Cornell |
| They played all the hits from
the album and they rocked Oslo pretty well
that night. |
