| This is one halloween party
I will never forget and that thanks to the
amounts of fun it was to help Truls and Lara
with their makeup. I had tried out the makeup
for Truls earlier so his "catholic school-girl
gone bad"-look was pretty easy to do. |

| When it came to Lara things
quickly got more interesting. She had brought
with her 4 containers (a total of 2 litres)
with real animal blood. We had decided earlier
that she was gonna go for the "Carrie"
idea. |
|
 |
| So there we were with all this
blood and ready to apply it. First of all
the blood had been frozen, so it was still
freezing cold and with bits of ice in it.
So when I put my hands in there it was a chilling
experience you might say. |

| Lara was placed in the bathtub
and I filled my hands with the ice cold blood
and let it pour over her head and body. I
regret not taking picture of the "blood
bath" cuz it was a spectaculare sight.
And the look on Lara's face when the blood
started to trickle down her forehead was worth
a million. She was genuinly disgusted and
had a serious attack of goosebumps. |

| So there I was - running between
putting on makeup at Truls in the bedroom
and pouring blood over Lara in the bathroom.
We had to make the blood dry, so Lara stood
in the bathtub with a hairdrier while I finally
got to do my own makeup. |

| And then we were ready to go.
But before we took a taxi to Killyrego Lara
had to buy cigarettes. Try to imagine the
reaction of the guy behind the counter! He
was really scared when she walked in there
with all this blood in her face and he asked
several times if she was okay and if he should
call an ambulance. |

| And he wasn't totally convinced
by our explaination that it was just a halloween
thingie. Finally we got the damn cigarettes
and headed for Killyrego in taxi. The taxi
driver looked a bit worried too... |

| When we came downtown and stopped
near Killyrego we weren't alone looking a
bit weird anymore. The street outside swarmed
with witches, angles of darkness, mummies,
devils and dead people. |
|

| We came quite early, so there
was very little people in the club and finding
a nice place to sit was easy. |
|
 |
| After a while more and more
people arrived in all sorts of costumes. |
|
 |
| The music was great! I really
got a great feeling when they played "This
is halloween" from "The nightmare
before Christmas". Such a brilliant song
for the occasion. |
|
 |
| And the evening got even better
when I discovered that they had Smirnoff Ice. |
|
 |

| Met some new and interesting
people |
|
 |
| And tried to guess who people
were in some cases as their costumes and makeup
made them look totally unrecognizable. |
|
 |
| All three floors of Killyrego
where open and filled with people in great
costumes and makeup. Some party! |
