| In 1997 when the rain was pouring
down and Roskilde Festival was one big mudhole,
we enjoyed sleeping in a barn at the backstage.
This is the Horten backstagecamp. Looks nice
ey? |
|
 |
| In 1999 Thomas and I traveled
to RF with his brother and Hege (aka Tigress).
This picture is taken at the backstage while
we are relaxing a bit before going off to
new concert. |
|
 |
| I was backstage again in 2000
with several good friends. This is the view
towards orange scene, and the band playing
at the time was Ziggy Marley. |
|
 |
| Benny is going all wild at
the bacstage. Orange scene in the back. |
|
 |
| This is one of the big attractions
on the backstage. To get into this Carlsberg
bar you have to deserve a Carlsberg wristband.
People try everything from bribing to begging.
What really goes on in there only the chosen
ones know! |
|
 |
| Dorte, Stig, Benny and Püffi
are relaxing on a very sunny day at the backstage.
We're sitting outside the media office where
Lamb works. |
|
 |
| This is Darup Bar in the Media
Village. Every year it changes it's name,
but they keep on serving the same food. And
they sure have the best food at the Festival.
"Lune italienske boller" rules!!

opens in 2001 |
|
 |
| There's a steady traffic at
the Carlsberg warehouse at the backstage area |
|
 |
| Vadehavet Bar (last year's
Darup Bar) with the same white sanddunes and
the same Italian buns. You just gotta love
it. |
|
 |
| There are other restaurants
at the backstage too. Like this absolutely
adorable restaurant that serves a la carte,
but also breakfast the way we really like
it. It's called WC Fillings. |

 |
| The peaceful garden of the
restaurant WC Fillings at the backstage. It's
just so lovely sitting here in peace and quiet,
listening to the birds and the water under
the little white brigde. |
|
 |
| It's the same restaurant as
they have in the oval, but with a slightly
different menu. |
|
 |
| I granted myself a very hearty
meal; Fillet of veal with mushrooms, double
cream and calvados. It was just so yummy,
but of course quite expensive. |
