| The festival area itself at
Arvika has 6 stages with very different capacity.
The biggest one is an open stage and the next
biggest a tent. Others are small pavillions
and a little house where the dj concerts were
held. Here Primal Scream at the biggest stage. |
| The biggest stage, Vintergatan,
was absolutely the best. You could either
sit in the grass or stand or you could sit
way up in the beer tent and still get a decent
view (and beer...). |
| The weather at Arvika was much
the same as Roskilde. The concerts at the
smaller stages were often very intimate and
hot. Just as it's supposed to be. |
| One of the best concerts at
the entire festival was Oslo-based Zensor.
| Both the music and the show
was great and we stood there enjoying with
silly grins on our faces. |
| The band has been compared
to both NIN, Rammstein and Marilyn Manson.
It's industrial and it's hard. |
| Those of you who still haven't
taken a look at Zensor should do so. They
will have a full-length album out soon. |
| I am so looking forward to
the new album, as Glenn has told me that their
new material is even harder than what we've
heard before. |
| In October 2002 Zensor played
support for Apoptygma Berzerk here in Oslo. |
| I also videofilmed a couple
of shots from the concerts. Those can be seen
on Zensor's website. |
| I just loved the way Martin
worked with the band on the lighting. |
| They didn't exactly play on
the best stage at Arvika, but I must say they
did the most out of it than all the other
bands I saw. |

| And the girls? You have to
click the pic to get an answer ;) |
| The boys were lining up.. |
| A lot of cool concerts throughout
the festival. Among them were The Cure and
Muse as you see here |
| And some concerts were merely
amusing, like Deathstars. |
