Axel is one of Friedel's RL friends, and he joined us at the chatmeeting adding to the amount of Germans present this year.

A happy dude with a smile ready no matter how much it rained. I guess you Germans have your own secret "happy no matter what happens"-beer that you bring with you to the festival :)

I also recall Friedel telling me that Axel had been to the chat on a few occasions, but I haven't had the chance to talk to him there yet. Hopefully there will be time for some chatting for me too soon.

"Every year again, the moment of coming onto the festival site,
with all the empty green grass. Lying on my back, having the first beer (well, on the festival site, that is ;) ) and letting thoughts wander between memories of past festivals and anticipation of the coming.

My greatest concert was The Residents in '99. I had heard about them but never listened to any of their music.

I was just curious and went to the concert (I love having a live concert as the very first contact with a band). It absolutely blew me away, i had never seen anything like it. I'd continue describing but I'd probably fail where lots of people have failed before me, so you'll just have to see for yourself...I really hope they will come to Roskilde again."
